After graduating, Moe started exploring her further creative medium in drawing, where she expresses her inner imaginative world with detailed, fine pen lines. Within the drawings, Moe's interest, which ranges from spirituality to the small details of animal anatomies often comes to the fore.
Photography also remains as a crucial medium to record Moe's unique view point, fascinated by rcichness of colour in nature and minute observations which can be easily missed otherwise.
Moe also works alongside people with learning disabilities, where she supports them to express themselves and to communicate with the wider community through their creativity.
Currently living and working in Tokyo, she undertakes commissions from a diverse group of people - from poets to puppeteers.
1984年東京生まれ。
2003年ロンドン芸術大学、London College of Communicationにて写真科修了。
大学卒業後ロンドンに残り、ペンとコンピューターグラフィックを使ったイラストレーションを始める。フリーランスとして働く傍ら、チャリティー団体で知的障害者のアートワークショップや展示会も企画。また障害者のために会議や講義内容を同時進行でイラストにして通訳する'scriber' の経験も重ねる。
現在東京在住。
